Oct 25, 2013 61km/3,959km Santa Fe

We walked around Santa Fe a little bit, sightseeing the Adobe style of buildings. Couldn’t locate the oldest house, unfortunately, as our map seemed to be kind of outdated. Now, today and in Santa Fe was the perfect time to enjoy some good Mexican food. We went to a place that had been voted best of Santa Fe and it obviously was quite popular. A big highlight was the Welcome Guy, the maître d' so to speak, such an original character! When it came to the food, though, Rolf and I both have to say that we would prefer Japanese or Thai over Mexican any time. Just don’t seem to be able to warm up to it much, it seems. Lunch done, we returned to the RV park, relaxing, reading, playing with the dog. In the end, it was here of all places where we experienced quite a bit of rain as well as thunderstorms.
