Changed our trip to go a little more South than originally
planned. I came up with that idea to visit a certain plantation: the one
where they filmed the 1985 mini TV series ‘North and South’ with Patrick Swayze
(it was called “Fackeln im Sturm” in Germany), a really great series. So we went to St. Francisville
MS to visit Greenwood Plantation (www.greenwoodplantation.com). What a sight and what a story around that
property! But I have to be honest, I was mostly thinking of ‘North and South’.

More driving past very well-maintained front lawns until we
stopped at another Walmart for the night. But not before Rolf had his long anticipated
Shrimp Po-Boy (a bun with fried shrimps, lettuce and mayo), a special of this area.
